The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program’s federal fiscal year 2012 annual report and 2013 action plan are now available on the agency website at http://www.arkansaspreservation.com/annual-report/. Some of the highlights:

• Students visited by AHPP educational outreach programs: 10,353
• Adults visited by AHPP educational outreach programs: 4,612
• County Courthouse Preservation Subgrants: $1,186,941
• Historic Preservation Restoration Grants: $307,564
• Main Street Downtown Revitalization Grants: $65,000
• Certified Local Government Grants: $99,000
• Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Grants: $19,958
• Properties nominated to the National Register of Historic Places: 27
• Properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places: 20
• Properties listed on the Arkansas Register of Historic Places: 2
• Project Grants received: $1,000,020 from the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council, $207,500 from the Civil War Trust and American Battlefield Protection Program and $753,650 from the National Park Service
• Federal Tax projects: 11 projects completed, representing $10,512,671 in private investment
• State Tax projects: 39 projects completed, representing $9,101,465 in private investment
• Conservation easements: 7 added, 359 total
• Federal undertakings reviewed: 5,070
• Technical assistance provided: 15,902 constituents.
